The rector of TU Dresden and professor of mechanical engineering, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. DEng/Auckland Hans Müller-Steinhagen, has been appointed honorary consul of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland in Saxony. His consular district comprises the Free State of Saxony. Müller-Steinhagen has always been a big supporter of the transCampus from early on, valuing the strategic partnership which further strengthens the bond between Germany, especially Saxony, and the United Kingdom. Professor Müller-Steinhagen is the first British Honorary Consul in Saxony.
