The first TU Dresden & King’s College London Neurosymposium took place the 4th and 5th of November 2019 in Dresden at the DZNE bringing together a breath of neuroscience from developmental to regenerative neuroscience. Over the two days, King’s and TU Dresden neuroscientists shared their research themes and highlights, forming working groups for strategy and collaboration development. This first meeting aimed at further developing current collaborations and to explore new partnerships. The workshop allowed to identify areas of strength in neuroscience across both universities to develop a focus for research funding applications and potential educational program opportunities. In a follow-up workshop in 2020 in London the neuroscientists will evaluate the progress of the collaborations and funding applications.
