With two new star transCampus affiliated professors in telecommunications research, the transCampus is taking the next big step in connecting excellent and highly complementary research clusters at King’s College London and Technische Universität Dresden.
Frank Fitzek (on the left), transCampus Professor for Tactile Internet for Medicine Applications and Deutsche Telekom Chair of Communication Networks at TU Dresden, and Mischa Dohler, transCampus Professor for the Internet of Skills for Medicine Applications and Chair Professor of Wireless Communications at King’s College London, will translate their know-how on communication networks and visions of the ‘Internet of Skills’ to applications in Medicine.
