The transCampus team in their rowing boat

The transCampus team participated in the 10th anniversary of the „Rudern gegen Krebs“ (Rowing against Cancer) charity initiative on 24th of September in Dresden. With over 100 regattas in 20+ cities it is the largest charity-sport event relating to cancer in Germany. After a 2 year break, the event could finally take place this year.

With training and assistance by local rowing teams amateurs and professionals alike had the chance to participate in this year’s competition. The transCampus team managed to secure a respectable and hard won 4th place among 52 teams. „Rudern gegen Krebs“ was initiated by the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden and has supported the event in numerous ways, e.g. staff. The gathered money benefits local institutions and cancer patients.
