As a university of excellence, the TU Dresden aims to develop and expand the transCampus initiative with King’s College London, and to further establish it as an interdisciplinary research-strong collaboration with a strong impact on education and transfer. With an annual call for proposals, TU Dresden supports projects that strengthen the partnership with King’s College London since 2020.

Projects should aim at one or more of the following objectives:

  • Initiation and expansion of research collaborations and projects with King’s College London
  • Joint application for third-party funding for research projects with partners at King’s
  • (structured) exchange of PhD students, academic and non-academic staff
  • joint publications
  • Improving/expanding the general conditions for international cooperation in research and/or teaching (e.g. through digital formats) with partners at King’s
  • Strengthening the international visibility of transCampus and TUD

The following objectives are beneficial:

  • Strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Strengthening the collaboration with DRESDENconcept partner institutions

Further information:

  • Maximum amount: EUR 15,000 per project
  • Funding period: 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023
  • An ethics vote, if required, must be present at the start of the funding period
